All courses based upon the HSE Emergency First Aid at Work, or the HSE designated “Full” (3 Day) FAW Course, including: training in the use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), “the Management of Catastrophic Bleeding” (Haemostatics - and where relevant, Tourniquets. Training is followed by an assessment. Certificates (for successful candidates) last for 3 years. Emergency First Aid at Work - 1 Day. First Aid at Work - Full - 3 days First Aid at Work Requalification - 2 day Annual Refresher - ½ Day Ballistic & Blast Injury Management This is a special course for organisations and people at risk of criminal or terrorist attack. This one day course is designed for Re-enactors and for staff / event

organisers. It covers the core skills of firstaid, with enhancements for

event-specific risks, caused by weaponry, camp accidents, horse

trampling etc. Training is produced for specific risks and venues.
